Halloween Ghosts

When I began making this card, I just had a simple layout in mind using only three ghosts. I began by stamping the image on vellum, and then cut them out.  However, I was unexpectedly distracted and had to continue making my card the next day. During my away time, I had an idea to incorporate a headstone on my card.  Thinking about my box of dies,I immediately thought about Sending You. It worked perfectly.

I used a metallic silver cardstock from Marco's papers to make the headstone. I edged the sides with black ink. The RIP are vinyl from Little Letters. The x on top is suppose to represent 'bones'.  I cut them out using the Peaceful Garden Die.

Here is the card. You can't see it , but I used PTI's  Linen IP. Both the sentiment and headstone are propped up with dimensionals.

The tag is one from the Little Jar Labels Die. I edged this too with black ink and stamped the sentiment & images from 3 different Stamps by Judith.

I finished the inside with a computer generated sentiment and made another headstone.  Because I needed something smaller, I used the Fillable Frame #11 die.

I really like how this card turned out.  It looks some much better in  real life. Thank you for looking.

Supplies: CS: True Black, Marco's Metalic Silver
Stamps: Judith's Boo sentiment, bats; Ghost (holly Berry House)
Dies:  Sending You, Fillable Frame #11, Little Label Jar
Other: Linen IP; cuperter font, decco scissors; dimensionals

This is just so clever. I love the ghosts. Perfect to use Sending you as a headstone and Fillable Frames, too. I may never look at those dies the same again!

This is so funny, because when I first saw that die at PTI in the spring, I thought: "It looks like a headstone!" Great job, Carol!

So fab! Again, as already said...You are one clever bee to have used the Sending You die in this way. Very cool!
