A New Decade

Boy, where did this weekend go? I didn't do anything special but spent quite a bit of time organizing my materials for some upcoming craft projects.  My husband turns 60 on Sunday the 15th. No big party; just dinner with our grown children. Here's the card I made for him.

I specifically chose these colors so I could join the folks at The Play Date Cafe with their color pallet of

Juniper, Mint, & Vanilla

   Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies: CS: Rustic Cream, green (from stash)
Stamps: Wreath for All Seasons, Botanical Silhouettes, Banner Builder
Ink: Mermories; Black, Versamagic : Seabreeze
Other: Sunshine IP, rhinestones, dimensionals, Wishblade--Triangles & Numbers

What a great card. You took a very soft color palette, and turned into a masculine card. That is hard to do, but you did a great job. Happy birthday to your DH.

So cute! I love the sunshine impression plate, one of my favorites. It adds so much texture to the background!

Oh how wonderful! The texture from the IP is beautiful (and you have tempted me to buy this now :P) I hope your husband will love his card... the people in your life are so lucky to receive your beautiful creations regularly :) Sometimes it's also just nice to have a quiet sit-down with family! Great take on the colours in that challenge, good luck!!! x
