Color Combination Challenge

Just a quick post for PTI's anniversary contest where one is to design a card using one of the DT's favorite color combinations.  I chose Heather Nicoles: spring moss, aqua mist, kraft and vintage cream. In addition, I used the freebie image she designed.
What I thought was going to be a quick card turned into one that needed a change in direction when I realized I could not emboss just the top half of the card with my swiss dot Cuttlebug folder. Instead I added a piece of aqua mist cardstock to the bottom half and stamped it with BB: Polka Dots in vintage cream ink. (You can barely see it in the photo.)

The vine is layered over some kraft twill ribbon.

  Thanks for stopping by.

Great job. I love that little birdie image--I used him too. You are reminding me that I need to take out my vine die soon. It looks really good on your card.

Love how you layered the vine die on the kraft ribbon! I also need to get this die out and give it some use!

I didn't get a chance to use this image but you did lovely with it! The vine over the twill ribbon is a nice touch and that vintage cream polka dot? Totally amps it up and goes with that birdie image!

This is so cute, Carol! I love that vine die, I was also recently thinking about using it and this makes me want to play with it! :)
