Retrosketches

I found some time this week to play along with the  retrosketches challenge this week. I love the simplicity of the layout.

I tried something new with this card. I used an outline sticker from Elizabeth Crafts to which I added two different colors of Glitter Ritz. Believe me this technique was a lot harder than I imagined.

Although you can't see it , the bottom 2/3rds of the card is embossed with the Linens Impression Plate. Here's an up close shot of the glittered tree. The mat stack die was cut using PTI's Christmas pattern paper released in 2011.

I applied some glitter to  a Pure Poppy button

Thanks for stopping by.

What a pretty card. That tree is really a work of art. I forgot about that sketch--it's a really good one, and your interpretation is beautiful.

Love that little tree, Carol! It was well worth the effort! And the bow with the glitzy center is awesome!
