Framed!

On the PTI forum, Danielle Flanders started a thread for a November holiday card challenge. The goal is to make a holiday card a day during the month of November. Good intentions I did have. Problem was it took me 2 days to make my first card. I had the sketch in my head, but had a difficult time picking out the colors I wanted to use.

I just love those diagonal stripes made with the newly released Super Stripe set by PTI.. Just perfect for a Christmas card. The background pattern paper is from Teresa Collins' Christmas Cottage collection
I was going to put this in the dynamic duos challenge until I noticed the tad of orange in the snowman's nose. Oh well. Thanks for stopping by.

It was worth the two days, Carol. Your snowman turned out adorable. He looks cute framed by the candy cane paper.

Carol….. I love this! Did you make your own stripes? The long wait paid off because this is just adorable. I did not know about the November card challenge on the forum… guess I need to check it out a bit more. Sooo…. cute!

What a great way to use the snowman. I love the stripes you put on the frame, and the fact that he is holding a little message of love.
