MIM: #99 Repeats and Rainbows

When I saw the card Nichole made with the rainbow scallop and glitter for this week's MIM, I knew I wanted to create a repeating rainbow card. I chose the rainbow color scheme #4 because I thought I would make this card for my granddaughter, Oliva, who just happens to love the color purple.

This card took quite a long time because I practiced lining up the hearts on scrap paper 3-4 times before I actually got it looking semi balanced. If you look closely, you'll see that I used the Canvas/Linen Impression Plate. (I got the idea from Joyce after seeing her card.)

The sentiment stamp is from  the newly released From All My Heart. I think I will give this card to my daughter for Valentine's day instead of my granddaughter.
.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Great diagonal Carol.

I love this card with all those hearts. I can see the IP, as well. Lately, I can't seem to make a card without one of those IP's. I know what you mean about taking lots of time to get the spacing and placement right. Yesterday's card was so quick, and today's cards took forever.

Lovely! I love how you used the negative from the dies and backed them with colour!

Carol, this is so lovely and sweet. I love how you did the hearts too and on the embossed white paper too, so beautiful.
