MIM: Stamped Borders

Quick post today showcasing the card I made for this week's challenge at PTI's Make It Monday which is to create a card using partial images to stamp a border.  My card sends warm winter wishes for a speedy recovery to a sick friend.

I just love the way Melissa did the bow on her card so I tried it on mine. I really like this technique and need to remember it since it doesn't add a bump like other ribbons do.  This will be great for mailing.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Well done, Carol!! I am swooning over the colors you used to make your pretty border background. I haven't seen the video yet, so thanks for the tip on the gorgeous ribbon treatment. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and I wish you all the best in the new year!! Hugs, Darnell

OMG, Carol, what a beautiful wishful card for a friend. I love the colors you chose, and the ribbon finishes it off beautifully. Wanted to try that MIM but barely got time to watch the video.
