Simply You!
Earlier this week, the stint of the long term substitute teacher I was working with ended. She did such an outstanding job working the students that I had to let her know. This is the card I made for her. (Sorry for the blurriness; lighting was bad since I took the photo at night)
This is the sentiment beneath the zipper. Believe it or not, the top layer of card stock is actually Blueberry Sky. (In this photo, it looks like Ocean Tides) .
I stamped the solid image of the peony in Memento Summer Sky and the outline in PTI Blueberry Sky. I fuzzy cut the peony, added some blue rhinestones in the center of the flower and propped it up with dimensionals. PTI's Linen IP was used on the base of the card.
I just love how the flower turned out. So pretty! Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.

Very sweet Carol.
What a sweet and lovely card, Carol! i love the blues.
pretty colors and love the subtle texture!
The peony is beautiful <33 I just envy people who has this set... even more so when I see projects with them!
Hi Carol! Lovely blue card! I'm so jealous that you have a zipper die--I've been waiting NOT so patiently for them to come back in stock! Your sub friend is just going to love this special card! What a nice thing to make for her. :-)
I'm jealous of the zipper die too - I can't seem to get it in the UK :(
Beautiful card :) M x
Carol your card is beautiful, love the peony, I am still waiting to get mine. On my flower I used the limitless layers die 1 3/4ths. Between each pointy section I made a cut, then put two of them together different designer papers and flipped up every other pointy section. Then using the round love lives here die I die cut a book page and put that in the center with a button and glitter. I hope I am explaining this right, let me know. Thanks for asking.
So sweet. I adore your color comination, texture and that Peony is flawless. So pretty. I can see why you'd be pleased. It's a goodie. I haven't had a spin with the zipper die, but you have made it look super effective. Beautifully done.
Your card is beautiful. I love the blue color scheme you chose, and that peony just looks marvelous.
