My future daughter-in-law's shower is next month. Her house mom is giving her a small shower. This was the invitation. (It is not handmade)
In addition to a gift, I like to make a set of thank you cards whenever I attend a shower. Piggy backing off of the invitation I made her a set of 8 note cards.
Here's an up close shot of one. The Pretty Peony stamp set has become my "new" favorite. The outline is stamped in Autumn Rose. The light pink is a nameless ColorBox color. The background is Vintage Cream. The cardbase is a metallic bronze from my stash. It is the same metallic base of the invitation.
Of course, presentation is everything. I made the box based upon a tutorial made by Betsy Veldman. Here's an angled shot so you can see the box in its entirety.
The front panel was stamped again with the Pretty Peony set. This time I added the leaves.
An up close shot of the sentiment on the belly band.
Thanks for stopping by.

Great gift set! They go perfectly with the invitation.
I tend to want to cluster my elements at the bottoms, but I love the flowers clustered together in the top right hand corner! So pretty!
