An Autumn Wreath

I spent most of Tuesday afternoon making a birthday card and anniversary card thinking I would be relaxing by the tv watching some new shows at night. Then it hit me. PTI's September blog Hop. I still needed to make my card. I am not a fast card maker. Luckily, I had an idea. Now to bring it to fruition.

The challenge is to create a wreath on the front of a festive card.

A peek at the inside.

You can see that I used Card Basic as my foundation. I added some bling by glittering some 1/4"score tape. along the sides. I still need to stamp a sentiment on the inside; most likely a simple,  "Happy Thanksgiving".

This card also works perfectly for the challenge at Cas-ual Fridays blogspot. It's been awhile since I played along.

I'm also submitting this card to the 2013 Thanksgiving Crusade hosted by Susan Raihalaand Casology# 63 where the cue word is AUTUMN.

Thanks for stopping by.

Banner Ghost

I'm still trying to catch up with posting all my Halloween cards/projects. Just couldn't get in the mood to upload my pictures and write my blog.
This is my favorite Halloween card I created this season. I just love all the colors and that cute little ghost! I ordered the Card Basic die when it first came out, but never used it. (Sound familiar?) The sentiment was stamped on the back.

The ghost is made from several strips cut from the double ended banner die. It was inspired by Marybeth of Marybeth's time for paper.  Check out her blog.

 Thanks for taking a peek.
