PTI January 2015 Blog Hop: Hearts

My favorite time of the month; the 25th. I love participating in PTI's monthly Blog Hop.  The theme
this month is hearts. Of course that means a Valentine for my husband.

I was inspired by the picture of the 3-d hearts that were laid out in rows.

Here's a close up of the stamped hearts. I used Ombre Builders and Polka Dot Basic #1.

This is the message inside:

A hundred hearts would be too few
To carry all my love for you.

Hanging by a Limb

A quick post today to play along with the challenge at Cas-ology.
The cue word this week is:

Since CAS isn't my style, I rarely play along. However, I needed to make a quick card for my great nephew who celebrated his 3rd birthday in May. A little belated wouldn't you say! Could traveling for 5 weeks count as a good excuse?

I joined the band wagon of exotic pets. Here's my card.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.

Vintage Birthday??

I cased this card from Heather Nicole's gallery.  I stink at vintage.  Love the look, but just have such a hard time replicating it. Not so sure I like the rhinestones. I might remove them before I mail this card off to my sister-in-law for her birthday next month.

If you look carefully you can see the polka dots stamped in Fresh Snow on the Fine Linen cardstock.
Here's a close up of the image from Botanical Silhouettes stamp set.

   Thanks for looking.

Supplies: CS:  PTI: Kraft, Fine Linen
Ink: PTI"s Fresh Snow, Kraft, Chamomile; Palette: Noir
Stamps: Tin Types, Botanical Silhouettes, Enjoy The Ride
Other: Spring Moss Satin Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder, Half & Half Die, rhinestones

September 2011 Blog Hop

Today is Papertrey Ink's monthly blog hop.  Nicole has been using images the past couple of months to get our creative juices flowing.

The-Challenge
  Sept-Blog-Hop-Inspiration

To be perfectly honest, I had a hard time with this challenge because I am not really a stripe person. I am more of a polka dot girl.  In addition, I did not like the colors.  My card reflects the stripes on the left side of the image above.

I used the die that coordinates with the newly released Christmas Label stamp set.

Here's a close-up of the shoe.  The fluffy puff on the shoe is a feather curled up and trimmed. The shoe is popped up with dimensionals.

If I am not too late, I think I will submit this for Color Throwdown #160 here.
Thanks for looking.

Supplies: PTI CS: Vintage Cream, Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate.
Ink: Archival Ink,  Sepia
Stamps: PTI's Polka Dot Basic, Impression Obsession's Marabou Slipper
Die: Christmas Label
Other: feather, dimensionals, CopicRV10
