Vintage Birthday??

I cased this card from Heather Nicole's gallery.  I stink at vintage.  Love the look, but just have such a hard time replicating it. Not so sure I like the rhinestones. I might remove them before I mail this card off to my sister-in-law for her birthday next month.

If you look carefully you can see the polka dots stamped in Fresh Snow on the Fine Linen cardstock.
Here's a close up of the image from Botanical Silhouettes stamp set.

   Thanks for looking.

Supplies: CS:  PTI: Kraft, Fine Linen
Ink: PTI"s Fresh Snow, Kraft, Chamomile; Palette: Noir
Stamps: Tin Types, Botanical Silhouettes, Enjoy The Ride
Other: Spring Moss Satin Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder, Half & Half Die, rhinestones

A New Month of Birthdays

It's a new month and once again there are several birthdays in my family. Four to be excact. The first one to be celebrated is my mother-in-law's. She turned 89 on the first of October.  This birthday was a special one because back in June she became very sick, and we almost lost her.  Needless to say, all 8 of her children were there to celebrate along with most of her grandchildren as well as her 2 great grandchildren.
My card wasn't original.  I cased one of Nicole's card using Harvest Berries.  Instead of using Ocean Tides, I used the new color: Autumn Rose.  My background stamp was from Tin Types.

I made a matching tag to go with the gift .

Thanks for looking.  Tomorrow I'll post a cute purse card I'm making for one of my neices.
