I was so proud of myself last January because I had purchased a calendar kit that I was going to make for my daughter as one of her Christmas gifts. For once I was going to be ahead of the game. Each month I would do the calendar part of the book with the intention of adding pictures later.
The problem is that I am not much of a picture taker; I usually forget my camera or it's not charged when I need it. I wasn't too worried because in the past my daughter would let me browse her gallery. However, this year she wouldn't because unbeknownst to me, she was creating a digital scrapbook as one of my Christmas presents. Hers turned out lovely by the way.
So the calendar never got done. I can't save it for next year because I did the dates for 2012. I decided to keep the calendar for myself with the intention of creating a page for each month before it occurs. (I don't know if I will make it for January though.) I can now browse her gallery to make prints. I just need to find some time to do this.
Ironically, I did already make the December 2012 page using pictures from Christmas.
Since this is a calendar, I am not doing any journaling. However, I think I still might add a sentiment to this page.
